CMVC was founded in 1961. The days of Cine films and before video was even a twinkle in a photographers eye.
Membership hovers around the 18 mark, of mixed abilities and ages. That means most of us are 'getting on'.

We meet almost every Tuesday evening throughout the year and try to arrange something of interest on each occasion.

Video productions are mainly individual efforts although the occasional club group production is created.
The majority edit using a home computer although some members still use analogue. Our oldest - and keenest - member is aged 91.

We are fortunate to have a nice hall with a curtained stage. Plenty of space for productions of all kinds.
There is a bar to hand that also sells coffee etc.

Visiting lecturers are arranged to give members the benefit of their special skills and interests.

Close links are maintained with other local clubs especially the Devizes Video Club, the Frome Film Makers and the Mid Wilts Video Club.

Exchange visits with these clubs are made at times throughout the year.
